September 12, 2010 Pastor John Cowles was elected as the new Senior Pastor of Family Worship Assembly.
John and Stephanie Cowles came to Family Worship Assembly in August 2004. John has been in Youth Ministry since 1992. He enjoys playing golf, reading and spending time with his family. John and Stephanie have three children, Isaac, Isabella and Lucas.
In the summer of 2009 Pastor John has transitioned to our Family Ministries Pastor. Which oversees the Children, Youth and Adult Small Group Ministries of FWA.

Pastor Mike & Mallory Knipe came to FWA in April 2012.
Mike and Mallory Knipe have been married since March 12, 2011. They both attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, ND. Mallory also graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a masters degree in social work.
Mike currently is youth pastor at Family Worship Assembly. Mallory currently serves as a social worker with the department of health and human services for Jackson county. Both Mike and Mallory are so grateful for the blessings that God has given them to be able to come to Black River Falls, where they look forward to a long and healthy tenure.
In their free time, Mike and Mallory love to play sports and spend time being active. They also love to just hangout and watch movies. They also enjoy spending time with their dog, Elsa (or as Mike refers to her, "The Pooch!")

The opportunity to reach, teach, and preach to the next generation is a responsibility that I do not take lightly. With every worldly influence imaginable attacking our youth, it is my desire to see students sold out to a relationship with Christ.
As the youth pastor at Family Worship Assembly, I look forward to seeing the message of Christ carried forth to all corners of Black River Falls and Jackson county. The vision that God has placed in my heart is that of hope. Hope for students who are struggling to know that there is a place that welcomes them and loves them. A place that encourages them to make the right choices. Most importantly, a place that pushes them to pursue a lifelong relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I love spending time with people! I love seeing those relationships blossom into opportunities to tell them about MY JESUS! MY JESUS is the Son of God who came for ME. He saw my face as he took the sins of the world on his back. As He drank the cup of wrath that I deserved, he thought of ME. The most wonderful thing is... He also saw YOU! He also thought of YOU! Because of his love, grace, and mercy, I can now stand someday in heaven, spotless and blamefree!
My goal is to see all people come to intimately know MY JESUS! When you go from just HIM looking at YOU, to, YOU actually seeing HIM too, your life will forever be changed!
